My brother is getting me in trouble. He's been at his computer several times this morning, and since I've been doing work right next to him, people have assumed that I was goofing off also. Arthur wasn't dong work on his computer...well he was, but for his website, which he's not paid to do.

It's situations like this that make me want to leave because there's no way to convince people that I was working or checking in with my wife, you know, like a responsible person would. So, I still really want to get a new job, mostly at a coffee shop.

Justin really wants to open up his own place, so I'm going to try to work with him to make that dream a reality....then I can work there, too.

So Arthur is now my boss. It's not that big a deal, but I want to leave before it becomes one. I would love to work at a coffee shop, and Justin is planning on opening one. All he needs is money....story of the world, yeah?

Married life is great :) We're picking out our photos yesterday and today.

Big trucks and Homework

I hate driving big vehicles and I hate doing homework. Unfortunately, my life is going to be rather filled with both over the next few weeks, maybe even months. Oh well. I'm still working on writing and playing WoW. Fun stuff, both.

So, apparently things are changing for lots of people. Within a month of me getting married (coincidence, by the way, not related) my best friend, Gabe, and another good friend, Steve, have both gotten girlfriends. And neither of them bothered to tell me when it happened :) Congratulations, guys!

So, Cloverfield *SPOILERS*

Yeah, I saw it last night. Oddly enough, I liked it. The entire movie took place through the eyes of a personal camcorder. Now, this helped to make the movie more intense. I never saw the Blairwitch project, but from what I hear, this movie did the camcorder thing a lot better than that other movie. During long, running away sequences, they cut the filming so that you didn't have to watch a bunch of shaky footage of people, well, running away. A lot of the actual filming was done in New York, too, and the parts that obviously weren't (because of massive architectural destruction) you couldn't really tell. Even the baddies (not Godzilla, for those of you who heard otherwise) looked real, rather than CGed. The baddie is a giant bug who spawns many tiny bugs that bite people, who then explode after a little while.

The story itself wasn't overdone, and neither was the horror factor. It was still a little cheesy in parts, but not in a bad way. I can't say, "Go see it." But I can't say, "Don't see it." either. make your own decision, especially now that I've told you all of the secrets.

Ragging it out

So today I have a bunch of lights to test so that we can send them out with my dad for something like three weeks. Then I have some cables to put away.

That's it.

I want to use the rest of my day to write so that when I get home I can play WoW and hang out with my wife when she gets home. I have to work tomorrow, too. Not complaining, just bored :)

And here it is

I now have internet at the apartment!! Emily and I are still settling in; we're taking it slowly so that we don't get overwhelmed.

Comcast installed today in the apartment, and then I hooked up my AirPort Extreme Base Station, which is my wireless router. I also got $70 dollars in giftcards to GameStop for birthday and christmas, so I bought World of Warcraft. I'm on Drak'Thul, Horde, I have a bloodelf named Zarach if you want to play with me. Also, I'm willing to start characters on other servers, if you play PvP or PvPRP.

Emily and I are having Date Night right now, so I'm gonna go.

That's right, I'm back

And I'm married.

The only access that I'll have to the internet for a while is going to be at work, but when we have internet at the apartment, I'll let everyone know.

I have to move a couple of things over to the apartment today, but I'm jetlagged and sick, so it won't be much.
